Ocean

Ocean is a cosy Queenscliff favourite for great coffee and tasty, generous breakfasts, with many praising the perfectly cooked poached eggs, smashed avo with dukkah, crispy bacon and a top soy latte. Its a handy stop before the ferry, with quick, friendly service, a peaceful garden veranda, and a welcoming, eclectic shop area selling pastries baked on site, chutneys, sauces, wines and antique wares. Visitors also loved the simple but spot-on ham and cheese toasty, little tarts, croissants, sausage rolls, and standout seafood like fresh flathead tails and whiting fish and chips. Heated cups for tea were a nice touch.

Several reviewers mentioned Hilary and Peter for their warm hospitality, excellent coffee and pride in the cooking. All up, a charming spot for breakfast or a coffee break, whether youre with family, passing through, or settling in the garden out back.
